The Video Pipeline helps you organize your content production from initial concept to published video—all in one place.

What Is the Pipeline?#

The Pipeline is a Kanban-style board that tracks every video through your production workflow:

• See all your videos at a glance
• Know exactly where each video is in production
• Never lose track of ideas
• Collaborate with team members

The 7 Video Stages#

Each video moves through these stages:

1. Idea#

The starting point. Videos you're considering making.

• Outliers saved from the extension
• AI-generated ideas you liked
• Your own brainstorms

2. Scripting#

Planning and writing your content.

• Outline creation
• Script drafts
• Research notes

3. Recording#

Filming is in progress.

• Active production
• Multiple shooting sessions
• B-roll collection

4. Editing#

Post-production work.

• Video editing
• Audio mixing
• Adding effects and graphics

5. Packaging#

Creating your title and thumbnail.

• Final title selection
• Thumbnail design
• Description and tags

6. Scheduled#

Ready to publish, waiting for the right time.

• Upload complete
• Publish date set
• Final review

7. Published#

Live on YouTube.

• Track performance
• Link to actual YouTube video
• Archive when done

Workspaces and Channels#

The Pipeline is organized hierarchically:

Workspace

Workspaces#

A workspace is your content hub. Most creators have one workspace.

Use cases for multiple workspaces:

• Separate personal and business content
• Different clients (for agencies)
• Distinct content brands

Channels#

Each workspace contains YouTube channels you're producing for.

Kanban Organization#

The Pipeline displays as a Kanban board:

• Columns: One for each stage
• Cards: Individual videos
• Drag and drop: Move videos between stages
• Visual status: See your entire pipeline at once

This makes it easy to spot bottlenecks:

• Too many videos in "Editing"? You need to finish post-production.
• Nothing in "Scripting"? Time to plan more content.

Pipeline Limits#

When you hit the limit:

• Archive or delete published videos
• Remove abandoned ideas
• Upgrade your plan for more capacity

Getting Started#

1. Create a workspace (happens automatically on first use)
2. Add your channel
3. Start adding videos:
   • From the Chrome extension ("Add to Pipeline")
   • From saved AI ideas
   • Manually in the dashboard
